WCWS ORGANISES MEDICAL CAMP FOR CHILDREN

We Care Welfare Society, J&K, Jammu organised a medical camp for general health check-up of children on Sunday, Dec 12 at village Niki Tawi, Javeed Nagar, Jammu. This camp was especially planned for the benefit of under-privileged & downtrodden community.The purpose of this camp was to keep record of those children who need special care/ treatment and WCWS intend to help them in future also. Most dedicated consulting Paediatrcian Dr Lucky Gupta thoroughly examined the children and they were provided free quality medicines for de-worming, calcium , Iron vitamins deficiency & for all ailments. Doctor was ably assisted by Medical Asstt Shagafta and Adarsh Vermani.136 children were examined for different ailments and treatment. Strict Covid protocol was observed at the camp and the children were first registered properly and then allowed to go to doctor one by one. Face masks were distributed to children as as well to mothers who brought their children to the camp. Prof M Sadiq Nargal, Chairman, WCWS thanked Ch Sajid Majeed, prominent member of community, who made all elaborate arrangements for this medical camp. He also served lunch to all our WCWS volunteers at his beautiful home. We also offered special thanks to Ch Fareed , at whose house this camp was held.
Dr Lucky Gupta, Mrs Shagafta, Ch Sajid Majeed & Ch Fareed were honoured with mementos & small token of gift from WCWS.
Executive Members of our society Col G C Raina, Adv V.K Sharma, Er T K Zutshi, S. Manjeet Singh & members Ravinder Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Arora, Seema Arora, Sham Jandial, Er Madan Gopal Langer, S Surinder Singh, Surjit Kour & Shashi Pal Sharma spared their valuable time and served as volunteers for the smooth conduct of this medical camp.
